In order to encourage the publication of scientific papers in the field of energy in the world’s leading scientific journals, the Grand Technion Energy Program (GTEP) will continue to offer this year financial support to researchers for whom one of their scientific papers complies with the following criteria:
1. The subject of the scientific paper is related to the field of energy.
2. The scientific paper was published in a journal which its Impact Factor is at least 10 or in a journal that is clearly a leader in its field (such as Journal of Power Sources in the field of electrochemical energy sources, or Progress in Photovoltaics in the field of PV).
3. The scientific paper mentions the Grand Technion Energy Program in the acknowledgements section.
4. The researcher’s affiliation in the scientific paper is listed as (also) the Grand Technion Energy Program.
The support in the 2022/23 academic year is USD 3,500 (incl. VAT) for a scientific paper.
It is a one-time grant per researcher ( if it is a collaboration of more than one Technion PI, the grant will be divided between the PI’s).
Grant management procedures will follow standard Technion’s EVPR (Manlam) funds protocol.
The continuation of the funding in this track in future years will be considered according to the resources of the Grand Technion Energy Program.
Applications can be submitted throughout the year. Please include a copy of the scientific paper with your application.

במטרה לעודד פרסום מאמרים בתחום האנרגיה בעיתונים מדעיים מובילים בעולם, תכנית האנרגיה ע”ש גרנד (GTEP) תעביר גם בשנת הלימודים תשפ”ג תמיכה לחוקרים אשר אחד מהמאמרים שלהם יעמוד בכל התנאים הבאים:
1. המאמר הוא בנושא שקשור לתכנית האנרגיה.
2. המאמר פורסם בעיתון בעל Factor Impact 10 ומעלה או עיתון מקצועי שהוא באופן ברור מוביל בתחומו (כגון Sources Power of Journal בתחום של מקורות אנרגיה אלקטרוכימיים או Photovoltaics in Progress בתחום של PV).
3. המאמר נושא הוקרה לתכנית האנרגיה ע”ש גרנד.
4. ה-Affiliation של החוקר המופיע במאמר הוא (גם) תכנית האנרגיה ע”ש גרנד.
התמיכה בגובה 3,500 דולר כולל מע”מ למאמר (גם עם מספר שותפים) הינה חד פעמית לחוקר לשנת תשפ”ג. ניתן להשתמש בה על פי הכללים של קרנות מנל”מ. המשך מימון במסלול זה לשנים הבאות יישקל בהתאם למקורות תכנית האנרגיה ע”ש גרנד. את הבקשות ניתן להגיש לאורך כל השנה. יש לצרף עותק של המאמר לבקשה.
