Polymer Electrolyte FC test stations (850e, Scribner)

850e Fuel Cell Test System enables operation and testing of polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM) FCs and direct methanol FCs (DMFC). The system can be operated in 5/25/50 A current ranges (current accuracy is 0.3% of the selected range), maximum load power is 100W. Three 850e test stations are installed in FCs lab, two of them are equipped with a humidifier bypass. All systems are equipped with potentiostats for impedance measurements. External mass-flow controllers are available for controlled feeding additional gases to FC (e.g. for MEA poisoning tests). The FCs hardware available in the lab enables testing membrane-electrode assembly (MEA) of 5cm2 and 25 cm2. For more information – Scribner
